Will buying a used Pontiac G6 today be more expensive in the long run?

I'm thinking about buying either a used Pontiac G6 or a Chevy Impala but before I decide I was wondering if anyone knew if perhaps since G6 production was officially shut down this month that maintenance in the future will be more expansive for a G6?

a g6 is the same as a chevy cobalt, all parts are interchangeable except some body parts like the front grills, even though production is shut down parts have to be available for the next twenty years
