Of course, they know how to do theme parks in Florida. Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld attract millions of visitors a year, many from Britain.
And this particular park is hoping to lure more of us over. Like Legolands around the world, including Windsor in Berkshire, it's for families with two- to 12-year-olds.
This is the largest one yet so they're calling it the biggest toy box in the world. More than 50 million Lego bricks were used for the 150-acre site, which has 50 rides - from rollercoasters to race cars - plus shows and interactive attractions in 10 themed zones.
It's all done in bright, primary colours, the atmosphere is, well, fun and - this being Florida - you're virtually guaranteed fantastic weather (sorry, Windsor).
The larger Lego constructions are amazing. My favourites include a 20ft head of Albert Einstein and a bright red Ford Explorer car which took about 380,000 bricks and looks as if you could get in and drive it.
