Gem electric car good or not so good?

what is likely to go wrong with a 7 year old GEM electric car and how much are their parts? Are they hard to fix? are there after market parts available?

The GEM vehicles are low speed neighborhood electrics using lead acid batteries. It should be relatively straight forward to trade in the old batteries for new ones as lead acid batteries are easily recycled. Mechanically, the rest of the vehicle
