When I was removing the dipstick tube in my 2004 ford explorer the cheap piece of crap broke in half?
I finally got the dipstick tube removed. Now I am having difficulty trying to install the new one. Its a pain in the ass. Are there any tricks and suggestions to the installation of the dipstick tube or even a video would suffice. Please help ASAP
all i can say is that they typically have a tapper to them going to the block, maybe an o-ring. may have a bolt at it's base and one attach point somewhere mid way on the stem to keep it from moving.
