I am flying to Munich and I would like to see Prague, preferably by car. It seems that this idea might be a problem because some car rental companies (AutoEurope being one) forbid driving into Eastern Europe. I think this is due to the high theft rate
Good advice in answers above, and let me echo I think it would be best to go by rail. If you do rent a car, MAKE SURE it can be driven into the Czech Republic. The reason I say this is I made arrangements in the US, and they said it wouldn't be a problem...
