Is a hardtop BMW m3 car more expensive than a convertible?

Although my question is specifically targeting the M3 series, any general insight on the BMW is appreciated.
I'm trying to figure out which is usually more expensive and sought after? The hardtop M3 or the Convertible one.

yes a convertible BMW M3 is more expensive than the hardtop version, because convertible has extra parts that help the roof top fold down, that costs money but it adds weight and slightly ruins performance (in my opinion it does).
